Vaginal Yeast Infections can be really irritating for a woman to go through. They may not be very serious as such, in terms of a health issue. However, they can be very troublesome to deal with. Initially, one can start off with Tea Tree Oil. Application of this oil in and around the vagina helps to cure the infection. This is because the oil has properties that can fight against bacterial and fungal infections. Using the oil frequently will not only cure the infection, but will also soothe the itching and irritation, and will give comfort too.

Then honey can also be applied in and around the vagina. You can apply it once daily for around 20 minutes, and you will see the difference in just a few days. Also make sure that during the time you have the infection, you wear comfortable and lose underwear, which is made of soft materials like cotton. Avoid nylon or silk. Also make sure that you maintain complete hygiene, and do not use public toilets at all. Every time you urinate, you should also clean your vagina properly with tissue paper. Do not wear wet clothes for a long time, and change your underwear twice daily for good hygiene.

At home, you could also use yoghurt to get rid of your infection. Just dip a tampon in yoghurt and then insert it inside your vagina. Doing this twice a day will give you good amount of relief, and it will help your symptoms of infection to go away soon.

Alternately, a paste made out of garlic pods can also be applied. It may burn a little, because of garlic being very strong and sort of acidic in nature. But it definitely is very effective for fighting many kinds of infections. In fact, many doctors suggest the use of garlic for warts as well.

I like the black & white ideas by other poster, but add silver/sparkle. Perhaps a formal ball (tuxedos and long gowns) for adults and just black and white (but not formal) for the kiddies. Think Sparkling Winter Wonderland theme. Use silver, shimmery faux snow, candles, anything glistening. Have a tuxedo-dressed server providing champagne (sparkling grape juice for kids) and apps on a silver tray. Chocolate covered strawberries on side. If possible, find an old child table/picnic table/Fisher Price table and spray paint it silver and paint a clock face on middle of it for kids to sit at. Use black or white table linens for adult table and sprinkle silver, white, or shimmery confetti, sequins, or glitter around it . Add some more sparkle by making candles using glass jars, filled with epsom salts to look like snow, and add tealight candles. You could also use those cool tissue paper "balls" that put out (available in craft stores) and hang them from the ceiling or above table. They come in white, but you can use a silver floral spray to lightly tint them.
Go to the Edible Arrangements section of the website below for more food ideas, that are also kid friendly. You could also make little black top hats (cover paper cup with black construction paper, turn upside down and add brim, also made from construction paper) and fill with popcorn, a pub-type mix, or candy. Sorry…I tend to get going with things Ha! But, you get the idea I hope.

If you want some cool centerpiece ideas check out this website. There are some pretty silvery ones you could create for adult table and a cute rice crispy treat New clock idea for kids to enjoy! Have fun and kudos for the early planning – way to be organized!
